Common questions

Do I have to share my location? No. Location is optional and only used on the device to compute moonrise, moonset and the best stargazing nights. You can pick a city by hand instead.

What does the sky forecast send? It ships turned off. If you turn it on (Settings → Weather), your location rounded to ~11 km is sent to Open-Meteo to look up cloud cover; nothing else. Turning it off deletes the cached forecast.

How do I change my ad choices? In GDPR regions use "Ad privacy options" in the app; on iOS, Settings → Ad tracking. See the privacy policy for everything the app and its third-party services collect.

Reminders do not arrive. Check that notifications are allowed for the app in the system settings.
